SAP Security Administrator - Level 2

About the role

The SAP Security Analyst-Level 2 supports the SAP area by working on major projects spanning a broad range of systems. This role involves collaborating with customers, Business Analysts, and team members to understand business requirements and design quality security solutions aligned with business and IT strategies, ensuring compliance with organizational architectural standards.

Responsibilities

• Application analysis, design, security configuration, integration, and enhancement
• Involvement in support issues and gathering requirements
• Advising on system options, risk, cost versus benefits, and impact on business processes
• SAP solution design and development supporting multiple enterprise applications
• Analyzing architecture, relationships between systems, and end-to-end system flows
• Coordinating, developing, and participating in the execution of test plans
• Staying abreast of new trends, future enhancements, and leveraging best practices
• Providing security guidance or business process expertise
• Communicating security issues and solutions to all levels of individuals, including managers, directors, and executives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) or equivalent based on education and/or experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP security architecture, design, and configuration
• Minimum 3 years utilizing SAP security
• Minimum 1 year of experience with GRC
• Minimum 1 year of experience providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members
• Proven success on multiple enterprise-wide software development projects with support and delivery in a production support role in a medium to large business
• Some experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori
• Some experience with Cloud application security
• Experience in complex SAP environments supporting multiple components

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification(s)
• Experience in SolMan - ChaRM
