So are we. We’re IT Solutions of South Florida, and we’re looking for a Level 2 System Administrator who’s eager to build hands-on experience with networking, cloud, and security technologies. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, assist on client projects, and provide day-to-day support that makes a real impact. Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly Qualifications Who You Are3+ years of relevant IT/networking experience (MSP experience is a plus).Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset.Comfortable working independently but eager to collaborate with a team.Local to Palm Beach County (this role is in-person).Curious, adaptable, and calm under pressure — especially as AI tools change how we work day-to-day.Certifications & Skills We LoveRequired:Understanding of hardware and software (desktops and servers).Knowledge of switches, routers, and firewalls.Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, including AI-driven features (Copilot, Purview, Defender).Familiarity with the Microsoft collaboration stack (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).Strong troubleshooting chops and customer-first mindset.Ability to troubleshoot client issues in a calm and professional manner.Ability to explain complex things in plain language, not technical jargon.Preferred:CompTIA Network+ or equivalent networking certification.Experience with firewall platforms (WatchGuard, Sophos).Exposure to VMware / Hyper-V.Experience in cloud platforms like Azure or Nerdio.You’ll get bonus points for any of the following:You’re familiar with N-Able, ConnectWise, Halo, Nerdio, or Datto.You've earned networking or Microsoft server-related certification(s).You have previous MSP or consulting experience.You have experience supporting or rolling out AI productivity tools.You have a degree from a four-year university. Responsibilities What You'll DoProvide remote and on-site support: install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software, including operating systems, office applications, and networking devices (desktops, servers, etc.).Monitor system performance, security, and troubleshoot system errors.Provide technical support for end users — leveraging AI-assisted tools to diagnose issues faster and deliver better outcomes.Implement policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain the security and reliability of systems.Work with vendors and partners to resolve issues.Assist with deploying and maintaining switches, routers, and firewalls.Support cloud environments (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS) with setup and troubleshooting.Documentation: Create top-tier diagrams and documentation.Collaborate with senior engineers on larger projects like migrations, upgrades, and AI-adjacent rollouts (Copilot, Claude deployments, automation workflows, etc.).Continue learning and growing your technical skills through training, mentorship, and staying current on emerging technologies.
