SAP S/4HANA Engagement Manager

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA leader with 15+ years of consulting and delivery experience, including recent hands-on leadership of transformational SAP S/4HANA initiatives (implementations, system conversions, landscape transformations). You will own end-to-end delivery for both Public and Private Cloud implementations for a professional services client, driving workshops, architecture alignment, stakeholder governance, and go-live execution across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud implementations for a professional services client.
• Conduct and facilitate client-facing workshops: requirements confirmation, fit-to-standard playback, and functional design validation.
• Oversee cross-functional consultants (Finance, SD/PS, Solution Architecture) to ensure consistent architecture and delivery across workstreams.
• Manage stakeholder alignment across business, technology, and third-party system owners; drive decisions and escalate risks with documented governance.
• Maintain transparent reporting—RAID logs, status updates, financials, and deliverables—aligned with professional services delivery lifecycle expectations.
• Define and manage deployment strategy, readiness assessments, cutover plans, stage-gate reviews, and compliance with governance frameworks.
• Coordinate cutover across multiple workstreams and geographies; establish a go-live command center and hypercare support plan.
• Communicate deployment status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 15+ years of consulting/SAP delivery experience with recent leadership in SAP S/4HANA transformational initiatives.
• Direct experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, system conversions, and landscape transformations.
• Proven ability to manage client stakeholders and project teams at all levels; strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Multi-module implementation exposure (e.g., Finance, Sales, Procurement) and experience across multiple full lifecycle SAP engagements.
• Experience in proposal preparation and business case development using SAP solutions (consulting-led roles preferred).
• Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones with global teams.
• Exposure to professional services-specific SAP processes and cross-module integration (e.g., PS/SD/FI touchpoints).

Qualifications

• SAP Activate certification and one or more SAP S/4HANA line-of-business certifications.
• Up-to-date with SAP innovations and best practices in S/4HANA delivery.

Pay

$180,000 – $220,000 per year
