About the role

The successful candidate will provide technical support for the Siemens Spiridon SAP system, with a main focus on Production Planning (PP), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Materials Management/Warehouse Management (MM/WM) modules. A solid grasp of Project Systems (PS), ERP Systems, and Quality Management (QM) is desired or should be developed. The role involves working closely with business users to ensure smooth system operation, resolving day-to-day problems, supporting system changes, and training users. Global coordination with the SherpaX implementation team is required to align BKA SAP with OneTech Company and SherpaX initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance for the SAP manufacturing system, primarily on-site to validate SAP actions, support manufacturing, and collaborate with colleagues.
• Work closely with business users to ensure the system runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP, with a focus on PP, SD, and MM modules; basic understanding of FICO is desired.
• Understand the flow from Design Engineering to Order Engineering and assist with SAP-related issues.
• Serve as an expert on BOM usages and types.
• Update and maintain plant-level material master data, coordinating actions with various groups.
• Work as a member of the Broken Arrow COGI team to fix and resolve COGI issues.
• Provide feedback to responsible persons on eliminating repetitive COGI caused by user error or process problems.
• Run reports from SAP and search for specific data as requested by management or users; manipulate exported SAP data in Excel.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to Switchgear SAP processes.
• Participate in testing and implementation of new functionality or upgrades related to Switchgear SAP modules.
• Coordinate with Siemens Corporate SAP support personnel to suggest new or improved functionality.
• Deliver training to end-users on Switchgear/Siemens transactions and process flows.
• Assist with Master Data updates and Engineering Changes as needed.
• Support intra-company business as required.

Requirements

• Understanding of how to query the SAP system, ERP systems, and data management in Excel.
• 2-4 years of manufacturing value-chain experience, including fabrication, with the ability to apply this knowledge to virtual processes in SAP.
• Solid grasp of SAP production transactions, sales and distribution, and project systems related to engineering practices and their linkage to manufacturing.
• Superb communication skills, including experience preparing and presenting SAP training.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$74,000 – $100,000 per year.
