The Administrative Assistant provides exceptional customer service and comprehensive administrative support as a valued member of a high-performing team. This role supports customer-facing activities as well as operational and human resources functions, contributing to efficient plant operations, seamless workflow processes, and a positive customer experience. The Administrative Assistant serves as a key point of contact for visitors and employees while ensuring accuracy, organization, and responsiveness in all areas of responsibility.
Schedule
This is a part-time position, scheduled for 24 to 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday. Flexible work hours are available provided the schedule falls between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary administrative support across all business functions.
- Provide excellent customer service to all who enter the building.
- Complete document recovery scanning and ensure proper record retention.
- Prepare UPS labels and manage incoming/outgoing mail.
- Coordinate and schedule deliveries.
- Maintain and update electronic and hard‑copy filing systems.
- Manage all incoming visitors with high customer service standards and assist with guest inquiries.
- Enter data daily into spreadsheets and databases; create and maintain documents supporting business functions.
- Serve as an ongoing resource and support for facility operations and human resources.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by business leaders to support efficient operations and a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate degree in a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
