SAP Platform Security Manager

About the Role

We are seeking Platform Security professionals to develop and deliver solutions that strengthen the SAP cybersecurity considerations of enterprise applications. This includes designing, building, testing, and deploying SAP application security roles, SAP GRC Access and Process Control solutions, data protection through role-based security, and ERP vulnerability management solutions to minimize the impact of internal and external manipulation and protect sensitive data.

As a Security and Risk professional, you will develop and deliver solutions that protect SAP systems and data by establishing policies, practices, and tools that secure the ERP/SAP landscape. Responsibilities include the design and implementation of SAP application role-based security, SAP GRC solutions, and SAP vulnerability management with compliance and audit experiences.

Responsibilities

• Adapt existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
• Understand the strategic direction set by senior management and align it with team goals.
• Use judgment to determine solutions and seek guidance on complex problems.
• Oversee and configure security and associated solutions in SAP S/4, focusing on application security, SAP GRC, and SAP vulnerability management to meet unique client security requirements.
• Lead engagement or workstream planning and verify that deliverables meet contract and work plan objectives.
• Step into a lead role, taking responsibility for small components of engagements or a workstream.
• Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel.
• Communicate expectations and provide direction to the client and engagement team.
• Actively plan engagements, align deliverable expectations, and contribute to engagement planning.
• Demonstrate knowledge of an industry (e.g., oil and gas) or technical specialty niche (e.g., BTP, SAP GRC process controls).
• Independently complete complex SAP S/4 implementation security-related tasks (e.g., an upgrade to S/4HANA).
• Make major contributions in assuring deliverables meet contract and work plan objectives.
• Take on tasks of increased complexity.
• Take a broad view of the position and take initiative to communicate, interact, and cooperate with others.
• Independently create written deliverables and participate in presentations.
• Recognize, qualify, and communicate opportunities to sell "add-on" work.
• Manage small teams and/or work efforts at a client or within Accenture.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP S/4 environments and/or SAP cloud environments.
• Minimum 5 years of experience creating technical documentation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP S/4 Hana, BTP security, Fiori & Hana DB, and/or SAP SaaS applications security.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).
• Travel may be required for this role, varying from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4 Hana, BTP, SAP IAG/IAS security.
• Prior experience working in a consultant/advisory capacity; Big Four experience preferred.
• Knowledge of internal controls, with relation to SAP Security and SAP Access/Process Controls.
• Experience with SAP data protection solutions such as NextLabs and/or SAP vulnerability tools such as Security Bridge, Onapsis, and/or Identity and Access Management integrations.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP.
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Desire to work in an environment fostering teamwork.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on factors such as office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Below are the annual salary ranges for this role by location:

• California: $94,400 to $293,800
• Cleveland: $87,400 to $235,000
• Colorado: $94,400 to $253,800
• District of Columbia: $100,500 to $270,300
• Illinois: $87,400 to $253,800
• Maine: $80,400 to $216,200
• Maryland: $94,400 to $253,800
• Massachusetts: $94,400 to $270,300
• Minnesota: $94,400 to $253,800
• New York: $87,400 to $293,800
• New Jersey: $100,500 to $293,800
