SAP Platform Security Manager

About the role

As a Platform Security professional, you will develop and deliver solutions to strengthen SAP cybersecurity for enterprise applications. This includes designing, building, testing, and deploying SAP application security roles, SAP GRC Access and Process Control solutions, data protection through role-based security, and ERP vulnerability management solutions to minimize risks and protect sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and configure security solutions in SAP S/4, focusing on application security, SAP GRC, and SAP vulnerability management to meet client security requirements.
• Lead engagement or workstream planning, ensuring deliverables meet contract and work plan objectives.
• Step into a lead role for small components of engagements or workstreams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through interactions with client personnel.
• Communicate expectations and provide direction to clients and engagement teams.
• Actively plan engagements, align deliverable expectations, and contribute to engagement planning.
• Demonstrate expertise in an industry (e.g., oil and gas) or technical specialty niche (e.g., BTP, SAP GRC process controls).
• Independently complete complex SAP S/4 implementation tasks (e.g., upgrades to S/4HANA) and ensure deliverables meet contract objectives.
• Take on tasks of increased complexity and maintain a broad view of the role to address all aspects of tasks.
• Create written deliverables and participate in presentations.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to sell "add-on" work.
• Apply strong understanding of information security management principles, SAP application security methodologies, SAP GRC Access/Process controls, and SAP vulnerability management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP S/4 environments and/or SAP cloud environments.
• Minimum 5 years of experience creating technical documentation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP S/4 Hana, BTP security, Fiori & Hana DB, and/or SAP SaaS applications security.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).
• Travel may be required (0 to 100%) depending on business need and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4 Hana, BTP, SAP IAG/IAS security.
• Prior experience working in a consultant/advisory capacity (Big Four experience preferred).
• Knowledge of internal controls related to SAP Security and SAP Access/Process Controls.
• Experience with SAP data protection solutions (e.g., NextLabs) and/or SAP vulnerability tools (e.g., Security Bridge, Onapsis, Identity and Access Management integrations).
• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP.
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Compensation varies based on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience. Below are the annual salary ranges for this role by location:

• California: $94,400 to $293,800
• Cleveland: $87,400 to $235,000
• Colorado: $94,400 to $253,800
• District of Columbia: $100,500 to $270,300
• Illinois: $87,400 to $253,800
• Maine: $80,400 to $216,200
• Maryland: $94,400 to $253,800
• Massachusetts: $94,400 to $270,300
• Minnesota: $94,400 to $253,800
• New York: $87,400 to $293,800
• New Jersey: $100,500 to $293,800
• Virginia: $87,400 to $270,300
• Washington: $100,500 to $270,300
