About the role

An IT consulting organization is seeking an experienced SAP ERP Consultant to join its Enterprise Solutions team. This role is responsible for supporting SAP ERP implementation and ongoing system operations for key client accounts. The position involves analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP ERP systems, managing project activities, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform requirement analysis, proposal preparation, system design, implementation, and operational support for SAP ERP and related systems
  • Oversee project activities to ensure timely and successful delivery that meets client requirements
  • Analyze business needs and develop SAP ERP system solutions to support user requirements
  • Configure and modify SAP ERP systems and related applications
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including system design documents and operation manuals
  • Conduct user training and provide ongoing system support as needed
  • Communicate and negotiate with project stakeholders
  • Analyze client inquiries and system requirements and provide appropriate solutions

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills
  • Analytical skills related to requirement definition, development, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SAP ERP and related systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Intermediate-level Japanese language skills required to communicate with Japanese clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of SAP ERP implementation experience
  • Minimum 1 year of SAP ERP user support experience
  • Experience in web application development preferred
  • SAP Certified Application Associate certification preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Schedule

  • Core business hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (one-hour unpaid lunch)
  • Hybrid work schedule with 2 days per week onsite required
  • Working hours may vary depending on project and business needs

Pay

$90,000 to $130,000 per year
