SAP ERP Manager / Bilingual Japanese

An established IT consulting organization is seeking an experienced SAP ERP Manager to join its Enterprise Solutions team. This role is responsible for managing SAP ERP implementation and support projects, working closely with key clients to analyze requirements, design solutions, and oversee successful system implementation and operation.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP ERP and related system requirement analysis, proposal development, system design, implementation, and ongoing operations for key client accounts
• Oversee project execution to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery while meeting or exceeding client expectations
• Analyze business requirements and develop SAP ERP solutions to support user needs
• Configure and modify SAP ERP systems and related applications
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents and operation manuals
• Conduct training sessions and provide user support as needed
• Lead project teams and provide guidance and motivation to team members
• Support project management functions including sales activities, proposal development, and business development support
• Analyze client inquiries and requirements and implement SAP ERP configuration changes, particularly within Financial Accounting (FI) modules

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Japanese language skills are preferred
• Strong analytical skills related to requirement definition, development, and implementation of SAP ERP systems, particularly in Financial Accounting
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Minimum 7 years of SAP ERP implementation experience
• Minimum 3 years of SAP ERP user support experience
• Hands-on experience in SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI) modules
• Experience in project management and client-facing roles

Qualifications

• SAP Certified Application Associate — Financial Accounting (FI)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Schedule

• Core business hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (one-hour unpaid lunch)
• Hybrid work schedule with 2 days per week onsite required
• Additional hours may be required depending on project needs

Pay

$90,000 to $130,000 per year
