About the role
Long-term contract (6 to 12+ months, possible extensions) for an SAP ERP ABAP Developer and Programmer focused on the public sector. The position is fully onsite in Sacramento, CA, Monday through Friday.
Work requires US citizenship, GC holders, or authorization to work in the U.S. Candidates must pass a criminal background check (livescan) before starting.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain SAP Benefits and Payroll reports sent to medical providers.
- Automate benefit plan selections based on represented employee organization changes.
- Create and enhance payroll reports requiring identification of retroactive amounts in employee payroll deductions, including tracking the pay period they were taken and adjusted.
- Optimize application components for performance and efficiency.
- Document solutions thoroughly and provide training support to less experienced team members.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, presenting technical solutions clearly and effectively.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP ERP ABAP development and programming experience in ECC 6.0.
- Expertise in multiple SAP ERP modules, with a strong focus on HR-Benefits and Payroll data.
- Proficiency in Web Dynpro ABAP, BAdIs, Enhancement Frameworks, Adobe Forms, Smartforms, Sapscript, and ABAP on HANA.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
