SAP ABAP Developer

Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer Location: Canonsburg, PA (Remote & Onsite) Duration: 6 months Job Description We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in SOAP/REST-based web services and ABAP programming in HANA. As a member of our SAP development team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP solutions that drive our business processes and enhance system capabilities. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements to meet business requirements. Design, implement, and optimize SOAP and REST-based web services within the SAP ecosystem. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical expertise and recommendations. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of existing ABAP code. Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies, including HANA, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Write technical documentation and create test plans for developed solutions. Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments. Provide expertise and guidance to junior developers and team members. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer. Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including experience with ABAP on HANA. Extensive knowledge of SOAP and REST-based web services integration within SAP systems. Experience with SAP HANA development and optimization is a plus. Solid understanding of SAP modules and business processes. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
