About the role
The profile is intended for a junior SAP ABAP developer with hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
Responsibilities
- Support assigned developments with guidance from senior developers or technical leads
- Contribute to ABAP development activities such as reports, ALV, enhancements, debugging, unit testing, technical documentation, and defect resolution
Requirements
- Good working knowledge of SAP ABAP programming
- Experience with reports, ALV, Data Dictionary objects, function modules, and debugging
- Exposure to enhancements such as user exits, BADIs, or implicit/explicit enhancements
- Understanding of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA development environments
- Basic knowledge of transport request handling
- Ability to analyse functional specifications and translate them into technical developments
- Ability to perform unit testing and support issue resolution
Qualifications
- Additional exposure to ABAP OOP, CDS Views, OData, RAP, Fiori backend development, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, IDoc, BAPI, RFC, or SAP Clean Core principles is considered an advantage
