SAP Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Create new local users in SAP, modify and remove users.
- Maintain the authorization matrix as updates are made.
- Act as liaison through JIRA to file defects or change requests in SAP, support for business functions when filing BN’s.
- Cookordination and perform regression testing with local users and add documentation to JIRA and status updates.
- Monitor upload/interface files in SAP (helping end users when needed).
- Reset passwords for local users.
- Run monthly close processes such as revaluation and monitoring other automated processes.
- Activate or create existing GL Accounts, Intercompany Accounts, Update FSVs (Account Hierarchy Changes), Cost Centers.
- Coordinate the daily AP check runs and work with the AP team to troubleshoot any AP module issues.
- Lock / Unlock monthly close period, Perform roll forward into New Year.
- Build / Maintain BW reports, including testing phases or maintenance of systems.
Communication / Change Management
- Supports finance functions for needs & issues related to the application, ensures Change Management adoption.
- Works as an integral part of the Org and Change team to provide support to projects within the department.
Training
- Provides trainings for Business newcomers on existing applications and for new applications.
- Provides training to end users as well as produce user manuals to aid in training.
Required Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business-Accounting preferred.
- 4-7 years’ experience in business-related experience.
- 2–4 years of experience supporting or delivering solutions within SAP S/4 HANA.
- Prior experience and/or strong aptitude with learning technical systems and analysis of data.
- Knowledge of business, products, processes and applications associated with his/her domain.
- Ability to work on-site is preferred.
- Project Management and Change Management experience a plus.
- Well-developed analytical skills.
- Training experience and success in working with various departments and levels within an organization.
- Able to learn multiple systems and good understanding of processes.
- High level of initiative & ability to be autonomous.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
- Basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and enthusiasm about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes.
Total Compensation Range
Total Compensation Range: $105,000 - $120,000
