Sanitation Worker Second Shift
Family-owned for over 80 years, Lunds & Byerlys is a grocery retailer rooted in the tradition of quality, value, and service. Our Mitchell Road manufacturing facility supplies our 28 stores with deli and bakery products including muffins, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, pies, salads, sandwiches, and more.
About the role
We are looking for a self-directed and outgoing Sanitation Worker to help maintain the environment where we produce high-quality products for our customers. This is a full-time position with availability around the hours of 10:00am–6:00pm. Our facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, clean, and sanitize equipment
- Load and operate pan washer
- Pre-operation assembly and placement of equipment
- Empty garbage, bail cardboard, and dispose of trash
- Maintain cleaning supplies
- Periodically clean walls, offices, restrooms, storage areas, and furniture
Qualifications
- Previous sanitation experience preferred
- Ability to operate machinery, multitask, interpret, and follow precise instructions
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift, scissor lift, and lockout/tagout certification
- Comply with USDA, FDA, OSHA, AIB, and all other regulatory agencies while following good manufacturing practices

Pay
$22.00–$30.00 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered within the range may depend on factors such as skills, knowledge, expertise, and experience. Internal equity is also considered when making job offers.
