Sanitation Worker 2nd Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sanitize and clean production areas and machines.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production machines.
• Clean and sanitize production areas.
• Complete Safety Training, including LOTO, Food Safety/GMP training, Chemical training, and any other training deemed necessary.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Able to work quickly in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion work.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to work overtime as assigned.
• Able to work in a refrigerated/cold and/or hot environments with temperatures ranging from 10 degrees to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Reasoning Abilities

• Apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Frequently reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Use hands and arms to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Talk or hear.

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to extreme cold and/or hot and wet environments.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
