Sanitation Director - US Operations

About the role

This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Food & Beverages environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a strategic sanitation program for the company Manufacturing
• Collaborate with manufacturing and technical teams to address sanitary design issues and food safety risks
• Provide technical leadership in sanitation to operations and quality teams
• Conduct periodic sanitation audits to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices
• Develop training materials and deliver sanitation program training across plants
• Implement corporate sanitation standards and support the creation of plant-specific operating procedures
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sanitation effectiveness and reduce food safety risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of food plant operational experience
• In-depth knowledge of Food Technology and Food Safety
• Understanding of microbiological and allergen challenges
• Familiarity with quality tools like RCA/CAPA and Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Experience with diverse sanitizing applications

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $142,700 – $235,455 annually
