Sandblaster Team Lead

About the role

The ideal candidate will oversee and give direction to the blast team, stage schedules based on daily production requirements, assign work as needed, read and process work orders, perform blasting duties as required, monitor shot usage and inventory, and possess exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and gives direction to the blast team
• Stages schedules for the area based on daily production requirements and assigns work as needed
• Reads work order instructions or other job-related documents and processes the jobs
• Performs duties involving blasting parts as needed
• Maintains shot and on-hand inventory

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a leadership and job shop environment is preferred
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• A strong work ethic with a solid attendance history
