Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following Satellite policies and procedures per state Scope of Practice, safely and efficiently.
• Greet and welcome patients on the treatment floor, ensuring their comfort throughout their treatment.
• Advocate for patients while they are in the unit and communicate pertinent information to the care team to deliver quality care.
• Set a positive tone to enable patients to live better lives and address their needs holistically.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives.
• Seek opportunities to improve the environment for patients and staff, driven by a sense of purpose and goal orientation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician.
• BONENT (CHT)/NNCC (CCHT)/NNCO (CCNT) certification (per state regulations).
• California Department of Public Health CHT certification (required only for CA locations).
• Current CPR certification.

Pay

USD $25.00 – USD $30.00 per hour.
