Sample Coordinator – Apparel

About the role

3–6 month freelance contract with potential to extend. On-site position in Downtown Los Angeles, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM. Pay range: $18–$20 per hour. Parking not covered.

Responsibilities

• Manage all samples using the Sample Management System (SMS) and oversee packages.
• Oversee and order samples via SMS; partner with the SMS team to troubleshoot issues and learn new software.
• Receive, open, and process packages; check in samples using SMS and account information; catalog all samples.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Visual Operations, Visual Merchandising Managers, field support, advertising, merchandising, PR, and online teams to fulfill sample needs.
• Manage sample transfers, including box management, UPS pickups, and sign-in/sign-out processes.

Key Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
• 1+ years of related retail experience.
