Responsibilities
- Act as the domain expert for digital commerce and ordering, ensuring Salesforce Commerce Cloud and eB2B solutions support real-world customer and sales workflows, including product discovery, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout, order management, and post-order experiences.
- Partner with Product Managers, Business stakeholders, and Change teams to clarify requirements, identify edge cases, and translate commerce and customer experience needs into clear, testable acceptance criteria.
- Serve as a quality gatekeeper, validating that solutions are not only technically sound but usable, intuitive, and ready for customer and sales adoption.
- Design and execute functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across Commerce Cloud, eB2B, and integrated downstream systems (e.g., pricing, OMS, fulfillment, ERP).
- Plan and implement testing strategies including regression, functional, data validation, integration, and performance testing for new and existing commerce capabilities.
- Validate end-to-end ordering and fulfillment scenarios, ensuring data accuracy, pricing integrity, and order lifecycle consistency.
- Identify gaps early in the delivery lifecycle to reduce rework, defects, customer friction, and downstream business impact.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, System Integrators, QA, and Change Management teams to triage defects, validate fixes, and certify release readiness.
- Collaborate and share lessons learned regarding performance and reliability issues with all stakeholders including developers, other SREs, operations teams, and project management teams.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and go-live readiness discussions.
- Provide input into release decisions by assessing business readiness, customer impact, change risk, and quality outcomes.
- Ensure delivered functionality aligns with commerce KPIs (conversion, order success, adoption, accuracy, customer experience), not just stated requirements.
- Support and influence DevOps and CI/CD practices, including test automation, environment readiness, and release validation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Typically, 8+ years of experience in business analysis, quality assurance, or a hybrid BQA type role supporting enterprise platforms.
- 5+ years of DSD industry and Tell Sell experience preferred.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with digital commerce, ordering, or customer-facing platforms (eCommerce, eB2B, tell sales, portals, or sales ordering systems).
- Experience working with Salesforce platforms, preferably Commerce Cloud, B2B Commerce, or integrated eB2B solutions.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to identify gaps, risks, and edge cases early to protect solution quality and business outcomes.
- Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.
- Experience validating end-to-end order-to-cash or order lifecycle flows across integrated systems.
- Experience working in DevOps and Agile technology environments preferred.
- Collaborate and share lessons learned regarding performance and reliability issues with all stakeholders including developers, other SREs, operations teams, and project management teams.
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud, OCM or related Salesforce certification preferred.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $170,000 or the hourly equivalent.
