Salesforce Developer
About the role
As a Salesforce developer, you will work closely with other developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements in a variety of industry contexts. You'll work in all aspects of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations. You’ll also serve as an advisor to our clients and provide guidance regarding how they might adopt new technologies or add new features to support the mission.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Provide technical guidance to clients on improving and modernizing their existing systems
- Mentor and grow junior team members
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce platform development, including Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce pages, and Aura Components or Lightning Web Components
- 2+ years of experience with software engineering or software development
- Experience with committing code and metadata to git repositories
- Knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Ability to speak and write English fluently
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with federal government or healthcare IT
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps technologies and tools, including GitHub, Copado, Salesforce DX, and Flosum
- Experience with Java, Python, C#, Kotlin, C, C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent client-facing or advisory skills

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
