Salesforce Developer

This role involves working on an agile team with 2-week sprints, focusing on data research, ETL development, and cloud migration. Responsibilities include coding, unit testing, UAT, and ensuring data integrity before production release.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing processes using Java, TestNG, Selenium, and Appium.
• Analyze existing QA practices and recommend improvements while executing testing strategies.
• Maintain and execute manual smoke and regression scripts to verify new code or functionality.
• Document and track test results in accordance with defined processes.
• Investigate problems and develop corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
• Recommend process optimizations and modifications for efficiency.
• Interface with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
• Develop technical work documents for controlled work packages.
• Perform data research, ETL development, and unit testing in a cloud migration environment.
• Conduct UAT and ensure data integrity before production release.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience with Object-Oriented Design and coding in multiple languages.
• Expertise in Java with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in parallel and distributed systems.
• Good knowledge of SOA and Microservices architecture with hands-on experience in REST/SOAP web services/APIs.
• Hands-on experience with application design, data management, and automated testing.
• Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Shell, JavaScript, ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, Redis, MongoDB, NoSQL, DB2) is an added advantage.
• Experience as a DataStage Developer with UNIX Shell scripting, SQL, and ETL.
• Proficiency in Python, SAS, Java, AWS, and Snowflake is preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing teams/programs in hazard mitigation, safety performance metrics, safety culture, or the electrical utility sector.
• Bachelor’s degree and PMP Certification.
• Experience with the electrical utility industry and a proven track record of leading safety improvements.
• Proficiency in Apex and VisualForce (Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, web services/APIs, Visualforce Pages, Components & Controllers, test coverage classes, and JavaScript).
• Lightning Platform experience and configuration.
• Excellent understanding of Salesforce SOQL and SOSL.
• Exposure to the SFDC data model, data architecture, and data management.
• Thorough understanding of DevOps and change management processes.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• Experience in software testing, including Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of software testing techniques (Smoke/unit/regression, Integration Testing, TDD, Automated testing).
• Basic knowledge of automation testing and mid-level understanding of HTML, CSS, and Java.
• Experience with Selenium or another automated test suite.
• Ability to write and execute acceptance tests, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Android and iOS apps testing experience is highly desired.
• Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies.
