Sales & Use Tax Consultant

The Role

• Maintain and respond to a shared tax inbox
• Address Sales & Use Tax questions and customer inquiries
• Manage and review tax exemption certificates
• Handle customer exemption requests and related documentation
• Utilize Avalara to support Sales & Use Tax processes
• Research and resolve tax-related questions as needed
• Prioritize and follow through on a high volume of incoming requests
• Provide additional hands-on tax support as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on Sales & Use Tax experience
• Avalara experience required
• Experience with exemption certificates and exemption management
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Responsive, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Ability to listen closely, follow established processes, and execute accurately
• Availability to work EST hours and start quickly
