Responsibilities
- Prepare and electronically file monthly sales and use tax returns
- Review tax notices, communicate with taxing authorities, and assist with notice resolution
- Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting tax workpapers
- Support licensing and compliance inquiries while maintaining accurate tax records and documentation
- Monitor the tax inbox and assist with tax-related projects, process improvements, and compliance initiatives
Requirements
- 1+ year of tax, accounting, or public accounting experience; sales and use tax experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills with strong attention to detail
