Job Summary
The Sales Training Manager (Hemostasis) designs, delivers, and continuously improves training that enables a high-performing North America Sales organization. This role equips sales representatives and sales managers with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors needed to execute compliant, value-based selling across the product lifecycle. The position partners closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing and Commercial Operations to align learning priorities to business goals and to ensure training content adheres to company policies, ethical expectations, and applicable regulatory standards. The Sales Training Manager would travel to Bedford, MA for new hire training as well as other business meetings as needed. They will also travel throughout North America (United States & Canada) training our sales force with a focus in hemostasis.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute learning solutions leveraging adult learning principles aligned to commercial goals, product launches, and market expansion.
Design and maintain new-hire onboarding curricula, including product knowledge, selling skills, best practices, tool utilization, and compliance training.
Partner with Technical Training and Marketing to translate clinical and technical concepts into clear, field-ready learning content and tools.
Foster adoption of best practices to ensure sales teams can articulate clinical use, value propositions, and competitive positioning for assigned products.
Facilitate instructor-led training (live, virtual, and hybrid), including national sales meetings and regional workshops.
Conduct ride-alongs, field observations, and skills assessments to reinforce learning, identify gaps, and coach performance.
Enable sales managers and peer mentors with coaching frameworks, tools, and reinforcement plans to sustain capability development.
Measure and improve training effectiveness using defined KPIs, assessments, surveys, and stakeholder feedback.
Stay current on sales enablement best practices, adult learning research, and relevant industry trends; apply insights to program updates.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
Experience: 7+ years of related experience in sales and/or commercial training within In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD). Werfen product experience strongly preferred; healthcare capital equipment experience preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (e.g., Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).

Compensation
The annual base salary range for this role is currently $145,000 to $180,000. Individual employee compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs.
This role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan retirement benefits with an employer match, as well as paid vacation and sick leave. Our sales roles are eligible for participation in a commission plan and our management, and select professional roles, are eligible for a performance-based bonus.
