Sales Support Specialist - Huntington Distribution Finance (HDF)
About the role
The Sales Support Specialist - Huntington Distribution Finance (HDF) administers the onboarding process for new dealer and manufacturer credit line requests. Responsibilities are focused on contacting prospects to obtain required information and leading them through the entire onboarding cycle from application to activation. This process includes understanding applicant organizational structure, filing UCCs, and administering system-generated loan documentation. The Specialist ensures accuracy of data in HDF's system of record while delivering a satisfactory customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Contact prospects in accordance with daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Validate and input account data within the system of record (Inventory Engine) to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure prospect applications and submitted requirements comply with HDF Legal, Compliance, and Credit policies.
- Obtain information to qualify new prospects, including products and brands carried and distributors purchased from.
- Lead qualified prospects through the customer onboarding process, including understanding organizational structure, filing UCCs, and administering system-generated loan documentation.
- Maintain tracking, reporting, and forecasting of the active pipeline.
- Actively expand and maintain product and brand knowledge.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Perform other onboarding-related tasks, responsibilities, and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in banking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- 1+ years of experience in sales, finance, loan documentation, or customer support.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, credit basics, and UCCs.
Work Arrangement
This is an office-based role with a flexible work arrangement, combining in-office and remote work. Remote roles may occasionally require in-office attendance for key moments. Specific arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $22.00 - $41.50 hourly. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, experience, and education. Eligible colleagues may also participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
