Join a dynamic, rapidly growing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) wholesale company as a Sales Support Specialist. This pivotal role ensures customer satisfaction and supports the sales team in achieving objectives. We value autonomy and seek a self-driven team member who can manage various responsibilities throughout the workday. Our office is located in southeast Englewood.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication methods.
- Support the sales manager with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, and managing calendars.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, shipments, and deliverables. Prior knowledge of QuickBooks platform preferred.
- Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on sales inquiries and support sales personnel.
- Maintain and update accurate records of customer interactions, regulatory data, sales activities, prices, and other relevant information in our CRM (SalesForce).
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, contracts, and presentations as needed.
- Stay informed about company products, services, and industry trends to effectively address customer inquiries and promote sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Analyst experience with a critical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
- 3 years’ experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative assistance.
- Pharmaceutical compounding industry understanding and experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Direct knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Process), FDA regulations, and GDP (Good Documentation Practices) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with an emphasis on Excel.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Schedule
- On-site, Monday through Thursday from 10:00am–4:00pm.
