Sales Supervisor -Virginia Gateway

About the role

Warby Parker is on the lookout for a self-motivated Sales Supervisor to help create exceptional experiences for our customers. Across all of our retail locations in the U.S. and Canada, Sales Supervisors contribute to the success of our business through face-to-face customer interactions. In this role, you will share Warby Parker's story and mission on the sales floor, participate in process ideation and improvement, and engage in special projects.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Warby Parker's values and brand philosophy to customers
• Promote an efficient, inclusive, and service-minded retail environment
• Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and offer thoughtful, honest style advice
• Dream up innovative and entrepreneurial ways to reinvent the glasses-shopping experience
• Lead by example as an upbeat, flexible team player
• Oversee selling on the floor, front-of-house operations, and team touch-bases when a manager is not present
• Open and close the store
• Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect

Requirements

• Professional retail experience at a customer-focused company, plus 6+ months in a management position
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to deliver top-notch customer service
• Ability to remain cool under pressure and adapt quickly
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive, go-getter attitude
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn
• Team player passionate about helping customers and teammates
• Innovative and proactive problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated to be a top performer
• Able to bring positive, fun energy to the workplace, even during long hours

Note: In Washington, full-time employees accrue paid sick leave at a rate of 1 hour per every 26 hours worked and receive 5 paid holidays and 5-10 vacation days per year (after a waiting period, depending on tenure and hours worked). Part-time employees in Washington accrue paid sick leave at a rate of 1 hour per every 30 hours worked.

Pay

Warby Parker offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive base salary/hourly rate and variable compensation for eligible employees. The range listed is a good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, internal equity, and relevant market data. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay if required to work more than 40 hours in a workweek.
