About the role

We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join our boutique at Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, California.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deepen relationships with Frette's Diamond Club members, cultivating long-term loyalty and lifetime client value.
  • Build your own book of business through proactive clienteling, referrals, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities within the luxury trade community, including interior designers, architects, luxury real estate professionals, yacht brokers, hospitality partners, and other referral sources.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals by combining entrepreneurial business development with exceptional client experiences.
  • Cultivate new and existing clients through personalized outreach, appointments, follow-up, and relationship management.
  • Deliver a personalized and memorable client experience that reflects the standards and values of the Frette brand.
  • Create bespoke proposals and identify opportunities to expand Frette's presence in every stage of a client's lifestyle through white glove services, home consultations, and installations.
  • Capture meaningful client insights and maintain accurate client profiles to support long-term relationship development and repeat business.
  • Represent the Frette brand within the local luxury market through networking, strategic partnerships, boutique events, and community engagement.
  • Communicate professionally across all client touchpoints, including in-person interactions, email, telephone, WhatsApp, and messaging platforms.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including purchases, special orders, remote sales, returns, exchanges, and payment processing.
  • Maintain awareness of marketing initiatives, boutique events, and brand activations to maximize business opportunities.
  • Serve as a passionate ambassador for the Frette brand, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in every client interaction.

Deliver service artistry

  • Bring the story, craftsmanship, and heritage of Frette to life through engaging product knowledge and storytelling.
  • Execute and elevate the Frette selling ceremony, adapting the experience to each client's lifestyle, preferences, and needs.
  • Understand clients' homes, design preferences, and lifestyle aspirations, offering thoughtful recommendations and style guidance.
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality through personalized touches and elevated service experiences.
  • Leverage client feedback and insights to continuously enhance the client experience.
  • Demonstrate a passion for luxury, design, and craftsmanship in every client interaction.

Earn a living

  • Competitive hourly base pay of up to $24 per hour

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in luxury retail, hospitality, interior design, luxury real estate, or a client-facing luxury service environment.
  • Proven ability to build and cultivate long-term client relationships while achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Passion for design, interiors, luxury lifestyle, and helping clients create exceptional living spaces.
  • Natural talent for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and delivering highly personalized experiences.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the drive to build a personal book of business through networking, referrals, clienteling, and community engagement.
  • Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, cultivate partnerships, and grow client relationships.
  • Existing relationships within the luxury retail, interior design, architecture, real estate, hospitality, yacht, or related luxury industries are highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional, and confident presence.
  • Curiosity and cultural fluency with an appreciation for design, craftsmanship, luxury travel, hospitality, and evolving lifestyle trends.
  • Passion for service excellence and a commitment to creating memorable client experiences.
  • Self-motivated and accountable with a strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury environment while managing multiple priorities and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and retail operating platforms.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively while independently driving business results.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, networking events, client appointments, installations, and off-site consultations as needed.
