Sales Specialist
About the role
The Sales Specialist supports the outside sales team by performing various administrative duties and providing customer service. This role reports to the Sales Manager or other management designee.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for outside sales team.
- Process and manage transactional quotes and orders in an efficient and effective manner.
- Respond promptly and accurately to quotation requests, leads, and inquiries.
- Follow up on proposals and close business.
- Research and resolve account problems.
- Work closely with customers and operations to enhance the customer experience.
- Perform client research, prospecting, and networking.
- Support marketing efforts for webinars, lunch and learns, open houses, technical seminars, etc.
- Perform other work as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior relevant experience and/or training in sales or administrative support.
- Adhere to safety practices and policies.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Customer-focused and quality-driven mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience supporting a sales team.
- Experience with Intertek Total Quality Assured.

Pay & Schedule
The base wage or salary range for this position is $22 - $26 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
Schedule
This position requires flexibility to work shifts and may require some travel as needed.
