Responsibilities
- Execute Pricing Strategies
- Lead the execution and understanding of competition and pricing in the market by facilitating the gathering and benchmarking of data in coordination with strategy, sales, marketing leadership and adapt pricing for construction aggregates accordingly.
- Manage Quoting Process
- Manage the entire bid/quoting process for basic jobs, including identification of upcoming bids, distribution of pricing information to customers and sales reps, and communication of final bid results.
- Manage Billing Process
- Manage timely and accurate billing exception and re-billing process for customers, ensuring the collection of receivables of all outstanding billing issues.
- Gather Market Intelligence
- Maintain market intelligence based on information to ensure maximum market penetration through constant review and evaluation of changing customer and market needs.
- Utilize Job Information Sources
- Utilize new and existing job information sources, such as Bid Judge and Dodge to identify upcoming jobs.
- Develop and facilitate the data and analytics required to measure businesses performance relative to pricing benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Experience. Sales experience with a track record of progressive responsibility and successful sales is preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills. Must be an excellent motivator and team builder. Must be able to form strong interpersonal relationships and effectively communicate with both internal and external audiences.
- Pricing Knowledge. Must be familiar with pricing and marketing principles and be able to support business planning efforts.
- Technology Skills. Must display knowledge of and ability to use computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail, etc.) and the most up to date sales systems (MOBILESales, APEX quote-to-cash, and Sales Analytics) to understand, measure, and capitalize on sales opportunities.
