What You’ll Do

  • Develop New Business: Seek out and win new sales opportunities through market research, networking, inbound inquiries, and cold outreach.
  • Set the Direction and Execute Sales Strategy: Leverage sales data, market trends, and competitor insights to refine strategies and drive growth.
  • Deliver Tailored Solutions: Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer needs and recommending power generation products and services that meet their unique challenges.
  • Expand Relationships: Strengthen connections with existing clients, while re-engaging past customers and expanding your network.
  • Lead with Focus and Control: Stay laser-focused on project goals, delegating detailed tasks where possible while ensuring compliance with essential processes and procedures.
  • Thrive Under Pressure: Navigate shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and unexpected challenges with resilience, drive, and a problem-solving mindset.

What We’re Looking For

  • The Ideal Candidate Will Possess These Core Traits and Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, ideally in power generation, marine, or industrial sectors.
  • Vision and Entrepreneurial Spirit: You take the initiative, set clear goals, and maintain control over your territory’s direction and outcomes.
  • Self-Driven and Proactive: You thrive in environments where you can work independently, make quick decisions, and implement change.
  • Analytical and Strategic: You enjoy analyzing data, refining systems, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Comfortable with Ambiguity: You excel in environments where parameters and goals are evolving, and you’re confident navigating change.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Your style is factual, direct, and results-oriented, while adaptable to social settings when needed.
  • High Energy and Mental Stamina: You’re prepared to handle long hours, frequent interactions, and shifting priorities with tenacity and drive.
  • Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated ability to develop leads, close deals, and exceed revenue targets.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiar with CRM tools, ERP systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bi-lingual is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + uncapped commission
