Sales Representative - Jamestown/Randolph/Fredonia, NY Area

Essential Functions

• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service and build productive customer relationships.
• Stock product, arrange product on shelves, and rotate product to ensure freshness.
• Build displays, implement planograms, and reset sections to add items or optimize shelf placement.
• Cleaning and dusting of product and shelving.
• Order product to maintain inventory levels, as needed.
• Perform additional job duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a merchandising or customer service role; grocery experience preferred.
• Must have a valid state issued driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
• Daily travel required, must be available for occasional, position dependent overnight travel.
• Able to work weekends and/or a variable schedule as required.
• Able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, lift and bend to service lower shelves for extended periods of time.
• Able to effectively communicate and present information.
• Strong organizational skills and a fundamental understanding of sales processes.
• Able to adapt and demonstrate flexibility in managing numerous, competing priorities.
• Proven critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Strong computer skills – Email/Outlook, Electronic Ordering/PDA, Word, Excel.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk/stand 8-10hrs per day.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs.
• Ability to push/pull heavily loaded product carts.
• Repetitive bending/stooping/kneeling to fill shelves.
• Ability to move and climb ladders/step stools.

Pay

$40,000 - $48,000 per year
