Sales Representative – Commercial Painting
Location: Southeastern Wisconsin

Blair Commercial Painting, LLC is an award-winning commercial painting contractor serving Southeastern Wisconsin. As a proud member of the Painting Contractors Association, we provide commercial interior and exterior painting services for:
- Office buildings
- Industrial facilities

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative - Commercial Painting to help grow our Direct-to-Owner division. This is a relationship-focused sales position for someone who enjoys meeting decision-makers, building trust, identifying customer needs, and closing profitable commercial painting projects. This is not a blueprint estimating or plan-and-spec bidding position. You will identify sales opportunities, conduct customer meetings and site visits, and work with our estimating and operations teams to develop winning proposals.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
- Meet with business owners, property managers, facility managers, HOA board members, and other commercial decision-makers
- Identify upcoming painting, maintenance, repainting, and capital improvement needs
- Generate leads through prospecting, referrals, networking, previous customers, and local business relationships
- Reconnect with past customers to generate repeat business
- Conduct site visits to understand customer needs and gather project information
- Ask effective questions to identify customer priorities, timelines, budgets, and concerns
- Work with the estimating team to develop accurate proposals and recommended project solutions
- Present proposals and clearly communicate project scope, value, scheduling, and expectations
- Follow up consistently with prospects and customers
- Negotiate agreements and close profitable projects
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through project award
- Coordinate a smooth handoff of awarded projects to the operations team
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and follow-up information in the company CRM
- Attend local networking events, business organizations, and industry association meetings
- Represent Blair Commercial Painting with professionalism, honesty, and a customer-first mindset
- Build long-term relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, business development, account management, or relationship-based sales
- A successful track record of generating leads, developing opportunities, and closing business
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
- Confidence speaking with business owners, property managers, facility managers, and other decision-makers
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage a sales territory independently
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills
- A professional appearance and demeanor
- A customer-first approach with a strong commitment to follow-through
- Comfort visiting commercial and industrial properties
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout Southeastern Wisconsin
- Honesty, dependability, accountability, and a strong work ethic
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful but not required:

Pay
- Base salary of $60,000 - $70,000, depending on experience
- Realistic first-year earning potential of $110,000 - $150,000+
- Uncapped performance-based commissions
