About the role
KettleHouse Brewing Co. is seeking a Sales Representative to support the growth of their craft beer brand. The ideal candidate will work directly with retailers and distributor partners, attend events, and enhance customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain relationships with on-and off-premise accounts
- Grow sales in existing accounts
- Work closely with the distributor network to achieve territory goals
- Organize and conduct on- and off-premise brand trainings, beer tastings, and promotional customer-facing events
- Maintain a consistent market visit schedule across all assigned territories
- Represent the brand professionally and positively during interactions with co-workers, vendors, other breweries, and customers
- Stay informed about market trends and opportunities to expand KettleHouse Brewing Company's reach and drive growth
- Demonstrate a passion for beer, superior customer service skills, relationship-building abilities, and a successful sales track record
- Manage time effectively and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and follow-through
- Communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain knowledge about the Montana brewing industry and stay current on industry changes
Requirements
- A passion for beer and excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self-direction
- Relationship-building skills and the ability to create relationships with various stakeholders
- Availability to work occasional early morning or late evening shifts and weekends due to customer demand and possible retailer events
- Willingness to meet travel requirements, up to 10-25% of the time
- Knowledge of computer programs, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Proficiency in VIP and/or other related sales technology programs a plus
