Sales Representative

KEMET Electronics / YAGEO Group is seeking a Sales Representative in the Milpitas, CA area to support the Northern California market. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the high-tech sales environment. It is ideal for individuals looking to advance into broader sales responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales plans.
• Develop relationships with key accounts and distribution partners.
• Work with engineering and supply chain personnel at key accounts to design in KEMET and gain approval on AVL/BOM’s.
• Train distribution on all KEMET/YAGEO products.
• Keep management informed of trends in market and advise any adverse issues which may impact ability to reach agreed upon goals.
• Support Pricing Analyst with major RFQs.
• Build intra-company teamwork between Customer Service/Production and the needs of the customer.
• Assess marketplace for vulnerabilities in development of targeted Customer opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• BS in Electronic Engineering or BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiently.
• Minimum 3 years of previous sales experience with demonstrated track record of growth.
• Interested in building upon their successful track record in sales.
• Experience with solutions-based selling and approach to solving customer’s problems.

Exempt - The salary range for this role is up to $140,000, based on experience.
