About the role
We’re seeking experienced automotive sales professionals at Castle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Naperville.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport with customers to ensure customer satisfaction by guiding them in their vehicle purchases
- Use excellent communication and listening skills to help customers select the right vehicle and negotiate payment terms
- Drive customer loyalty by following up to make sure their experience is top-notch and help transition customers to the Service Department for their vehicle needs
- Exhibit consultative selling skills and assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
- Nurture enriching relationships to build a strong client base
- Know the ins and the outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies; perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles
- Follow-up with buyers to ensure successful referral business
- Overcome objections and thrive within sales situations
- Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis
Requirements
- Previous automotive sales experience
- Proven track record of strong performance
- Self-starter mentality and motivation to succeed
- Drive to become a product expert
- Excellent communication skills with customers and team members
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and meet insurability guidelines

Pay
Sales Consultant/ Salesperson: $60K-$100K Compensation will be based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from displayed amounts
