Key Responsibilities
- Meet revenue targets within expected sales margins while balancing company goals with an exceptional customer experience.
- Develop an understanding of the book printing process and advise customers on the best solutions for their projects.
- Manage multiple customers, projects, and timelines simultaneously.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline, including incoming projects and revenue estimates, using Salesforce or other assigned platforms.
- Pursue business development opportunities by following up on marketing-generated leads, prospect lists, and other potential customer opportunities.
- Drive inbound opportunity conversions through timely follow-up, relationship building, and proactive engagement with prospective and existing customers.
- Act as an internal liaison by partnering with production teams to ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met.
- Provide customer product support directly and follow projects through delivery.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through ongoing communication regarding quotes, project milestones, completed projects, and expansion opportunities.
- Contribute to team discussions, business growth initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Contribute to team discussions on strategy with a focus on business growth and participate in development projects where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, business development, customer success, or another customer-facing role
- Experience managing pipelines, opportunities, and customer relationships
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work with many types of customers and varied needs
- Excellent task management and organizational skills while handling many moving parts and projects
- A strong desire to help customers while maintaining good business practices
- A proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and bias for action
- Experience working with CRM platforms, Salesforce preferred
- A desire to learn and absorb information about book printing, solutions-selling, and related businesses
