About the role
The Sales and Proposal Manager plays a crucial role in responding to customer requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) for Moog’s Space Division. Reporting to the Director, Space Sect Adv Programs, this position oversees the entire proposal lifecycle from intake and kickoff through writing, reviews, production, submission, and post-submission debriefs.
Responsibilities
- Promote customer intimacy and relationships fostering growth with key customers.
- Lead the proposal lifecycle, ensuring compliance and quality.
- Manage proposal budget, track status, and maintain archives and metrics.
- Facilitate cross-functional proposal teams and ensure alignment with legal, financial, and compliance needs.
- Drive timelines and resource allocation, organize content reviews, and manage proposal submissions.
- Oversee reviews and approvals, maintain content libraries, and support process improvements.
- Develop strategic plans and provide timely inputs into CRM systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Engineering or Business field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales, Proposal process management, Engineering, or Program Management.
- Experience using CRM tools to track customer interactions, opportunities, and bookings.
- Strong program/project management experience.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage through influence in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the space industry and/or electronics/avionics is a plus.
- Ability to obtain a US DOD security clearance.
- Ability to access US export-controlled information (ITAR).
- Ability to travel up to 5-10% of the time.

Pay
$130,000.00 - $175,000.00 Annually
