Sales Porter- Detailer

About the Role

Join Continental Toyota in Hodgkins, IL, where you will play a key role in maintaining the appearance and readiness of our vehicle inventory. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of vehicles on the lot and in the showroom.
• Perform exterior and interior vehicle washing, vacuuming, and detailing to ensure vehicles are showroom-ready.
• Move vehicles safely around the lot and prepare them for customer delivery or sales events.
• Assist sales team by staging vehicles and performing routine lot organization tasks.
• Report any vehicle or equipment damage to management promptly.
• Support other dealership departments as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Shuttle customers when needed.
• Fuel vehicles when needed.
• Assist in maintaining a clean shop.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.
