Sales Operations Sr. Manager

About the role
The Senior Sales Operations Manager supports the Sales Team by owning the oversight of the trade management system, balancing over $550MM in trade promotion spend. This role requires a deep understanding of McCormick’s complex go-to-market business model to recommend tools and process improvements that drive profitable growth. The position also manages day-to-day technical issues with business systems, oversees the team responsible for in-store merchandising units (temporary and permanent), and maintains relationships with third-party vendors. Cross-functional collaboration is key to driving efficiency and effective business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales tools and technology to enhance deployment of sales structure, strategy, new items, annual planning documents, and other business processes through internal and external systems (e.g., Sales Link, TPM).
- Lead cross-functional resources in the development and maintenance of all merchandising vehicles, including permanent equipment and corrugate displays.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts for sales-related business processes and technology needs.
- Oversee the end-to-end distressed product process, including third-party vendors.
- Manage the routine communication process to sales and broker partners.
- Maintain financial accountability for cost center budget and inventory position for merchandising equipment.
- Attract, retain, and develop 7 members of the Sales Operations Team (4 direct, 3 indirect).
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Trade Management Systems.
- Foundational and functional knowledge of industry trends and tools in the CPG industry to drive efficient and effective business planning for profitable growth.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
- Experience working with large datasets, including independently pulling and interpreting data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; required to present to large groups virtually and in person.
- Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while handling day-to-day tasks.
- Ability to negotiate with third-party vendors.

Pay
Base salary range: $121,900 - $219,410. Compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
