Sales Operations Sr. Manager
Position Overview
The Senior Sales Operations Manager supports the Sales Team by overseeing the trade management system and the team responsible for McCormick's in-store merchandising units. This role also manages relationships with third-party vendors and drives continuous improvement efforts for sales-related business processes and technology.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales tools and technology to enhance deployment of sales structure, strategy, new items, annual planning documents, and other business processes through internal and external systems (i.e., Sales Link, TPM)
- Lead cross-functional resources in the development, and maintenance of all merchandising vehicles, both permanent equipment and corrugate displays. Manage relationships with third party vendors
- Drive continuous improvement efforts for sales related business processes and technology needs
- Manage the end-to-end distressed product process, including third party vendors
- Oversee the routine communication process to sales and broker partners
- Financially accountable to maintain cost center budget and manage inventory position for merchandising equipment
- Attract, retain, and develop 7 members of the Sales Operations Team (4 direct, 3 indirect)
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics or other related fields
- 3+ years of people management experience
- 3+ years of experience with Trade Management Systems
- Foundational and functional knowledge of industry trends and tools available throughout the CPG industry used to drive efficient and effective business planning to drive profitable growth
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time
- Proficient in Microsoft office including PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI
- Ability to work with large data sets including pulling and interrupting data independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Required to present to large groups of people virtually and in person
- Excellent planning and organizational skills. Required to manage multiple projects at the same time while managing day-to-day tasks and objectives
- The ability to negotiate with third party vendors

Base Salary: $121,900 - $219,410
