Responsibilities

  • Maintain CRM and ERP data integrity, ensuring customer, pricing, inventory, and sales information is accurate and current.
  • Develop and distribute sales performance reports, dashboards, and business analytics.
  • Monitor sales activity, pipeline metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support sales forecasting, territory management, and revenue planning initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance sales productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Aid in system administration, user support, and sales tool enhancements.
  • Support customer service functions to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
  • Resolve customer inquiries related to orders, inventory availability, lead times, and pricing.
  • Coordinate with customer service, sales, purchasing, and operations teams to support exceptional customer experiences.
  • Absorb and communicate operational updates affecting the sales team, including supplier lead times, product availability, price increases, and market changes.
  • Provide accurate data, product information, and operational insights to drive customer growth.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in sales operations, customer service, purchasing, inventory management, or business analytics preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM, ERP, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

About the Role

The Sales Operations Specialist serves as a critical link between sales, customer service, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier operations. This role is responsible for optimizing sales processes, maintaining data integrity within CRM and ERP systems, managing sales tools and reporting, and providing operational support that enables the sales team to maximize efficiency and revenue growth. In addition to sales operations responsibilities, this position supports daily commercial activities including customer service, vendor-managed inventory (VMI) programs, supplier purchase order management, order tracking, pricing administration, and cost management. The role ensures accurate communication of market and supplier updates, enabling the sales team to respond proactively to changes in lead times, costs, and product availability.
