Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the operational backbone for the Sales team, ensuring seamless execution across the commercial lifecycle.
- Cook up cross-functional activities with Customer Service, Pricing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other stakeholders to support account needs.
- Maintain CRM accuracy, including opportunity tracking, pipeline updates, and customer data integrity.
- Generate and maintain sales reports (e.g., volume tracking, pricing files, open orders, contract usage) to support decision-making.
- Support Account Managers with contract management, item set-up, reporting, and customer communications as needed.
- Contribute inputs into demand planning and S&OP processes, providing commercial context and historical data insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and tools that enhance sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for customers, ensuring continuity when Account Managers are unavailable.
- Works cross-functionally with operations, planning, finance, and customer-facing teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial activities.
- Utilizes systems such as CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP tools (e.g., SAP) to maintain data, track performance, and support reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales operations, commercial support, customer service, or a similar role.
- Exposure to supporting commercial teams in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce); experience with reporting or data visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership and follow-through.
- Familiarity with the chocolate industry or related sectors is a plus.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000, depending on factors such as experience and location, plus an annual bonus and our comprehensive benefits package. MyFlex PTO (unlimited!) and Paid Holidays are also offered.
