Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Drive Sales: Actively prospect and close new residential and commercial pest control accounts.
- Build & Lead a Team: Recruit, train, and motivate a sales team to expand our reach and increase revenue.
- Sales Process Development: Build and refine sales scripts, presentations, and closing strategies for your team.
- Pipeline Management: Track and manage leads, appointments, and follow-ups in CRM software.
- Partnership Development: Build relationships with local businesses (property managers, realtors, home service providers) for referrals.
- Market Insights: Provide feedback on customer needs and opportunities to help shape services and pricing.
Requirements
- Sales Experience: 3+ years of sales experience (pest control, home services, or door-to-door preferred).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build and lead a team, including recruiting and training.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: Thrives in a startup environment with performance-based pay.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to close deals and inspire others to do the same.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Northern Colorado market is a strong plus.
Qualifications
- Your personal sales: Sell 50 new accounts/month = ≈$30,000/year
- Your team: Build a team of 5 reps each selling 60 accounts/month = ≈$72,000/year in overrides
- Total: ≈$102,000/year — with no cap as you and your team expand production.
- Commissions typically average around $50 per new account — and can be higher for certain services depending on margins.
- Team Overrides: Additional commissions on sales generated by your team.
- Performance Incentives: Bonuses for hitting growth milestones.
