Sales Manager

About the role
The Sales Manager, WinCraft will play a critical role in expanding WinCraft's hardgoods presence across strategic accounts. This role is responsible for the development and growth of identified strategic accounts, with a focus on expanding Fanatics Commerce's hardgoods position within the WinCraft Brand. Working closely with the Vice President of Sales, this role requires building and executing account-level business plans while educating customers on the full portfolio of WinCraft products, licenses, and custom offerings.
Responsibilities
- Team & Leadership Impact
- Partner daily with internal teams across customer service, marketing, Business Intelligence, and sales to align priorities, resolve challenges, and drive coordinated account execution for WinCraft.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales on seasonal timelines, account planning, and escalation of competitive or operational business issues requiring leadership visibility.
- Support co-workers in maximizing event and strategic program opportunities, sharing account intelligence and best practices to strengthen overall team performance.
- Fan & Customer Impact
- Build deep, trusted relationships with strategic retail accounts, serving as a knowledgeable resource on WinCraft Brands, licenses, and associated products to maximize revenue and margin opportunity.
- Identify, communicate, and proactively react to market trends within respective territories, ensuring customers' expectations are met through forward-looking sales planning.
- Effectively present and close orders related to new properties, promotions, and products, ensuring customers have the right WinCraft solutions at the right time.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of WinCraft custom products and confidently present and sell custom solutions to accounts, completing product information for quotes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Innovation & Problem Solving
- Create and execute tailored sales plans for identified accounts, continuously evaluating performance and identifying opportunities for hardgoods category expansion across all retail partners.
- Troubleshoot accounts experiencing challenges, proactively advising leadership of potential or current problems and recommending actionable solutions.
- Leverage AI tools, Business Intelligence dashboards, and Excel proficiency to analyze account performance and surface data-driven insights that inform sales strategy.
- Maintain competitive awareness across the licensed hardgoods landscape and bring forward-looking market intelligence to leadership to inform product and account strategy.
- Ownership & Execution
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual revenue and margin targets established by management, demonstrating consistent accountability to performance goals.
- Manage day-to-day business responsibilities with discipline, including well-defined travel plans, virtual meeting preparation, dashboard maintenance, and adherence to customer meeting expectations via the travel checklist.
- Communicate effectively with Operations regarding priority orders and critical business needs, escalating appropriately to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and restrictions set forth by management as they pertain to licensed properties, and obtain required sales and accounting information to establish new accounts in a timely manner.

Requirements
- 3–5 years of direct sales experience with a demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present a positive, organized, and professional image to internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to quickly learn and leverage systems, including proficiency in AI tools and Excel for reporting, analysis, and sales planning.
- Experience in the sports licensing and/or promotional products industry is a strong plus.
- Attention to detail in completing product quotes, account documentation, and compliance with licensed property guidelines.
- Willingness and ability to travel, with this role requiring travel greater than 10%.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred.

On-site in Winona, MN.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $75,000 USD (base pay only, does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation). When determining base pay as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
