About the Role
ACMA is strengthening its commercial presence in North America with a dedicated Business Development Manager focused on accelerating growth in strategic segments such as Home Care, Personal Care, Liquids & Oils, and Food. This role will be part of the front-line commercial interface for ACMA in the U.S. market together with the COESIA NA organization: driving customer engagement, gathering market intelligence, developing opportunities, and requires frequent travel across North America.
- Lead ACMA’s commercial development in North America, ensuring strong customer presence and consistent follow-up across priority segments.
- Engage directly with customers at all decision-making levels to develop relationships, understand needs, and influence technical and commercial choices.
- Promote ACMA’s solutions proactively in the market and support integrated offerings together with Coesia Americas (e.g., R.A Jones, CMS NA).
- Collect and share structured market intelligence—particularly for the liquid filling segment—informing strategy and commercial decisions.
- Drive opportunity development, leveraging trade shows, customer visits, demos, and joint initiatives with other Coesia companies.
- Cook with ACMA teams (Marketing, Product Management, Application Engineering, Operations, Customer Service) to ensure flawless commercial execution.
- Represent ACMA in internal commercial reviews and ensure alignment with senior leadership.
What You Need to Be Successful
- A highly proactive, assertive, and customer-facing commercial professional, able to drive opportunities independently and build trust with customers.
- Industrial experience in bottle filling equipment for Home Care, Personal Care, or similar liquid product applications, with solid understanding of filling technologies and production environments.
- Proven ability to influence decisions and manage complex, multi-stakeholder interactions.
- Strong strategic mindset, capable of gathering insights and translating them into commercial direction.
- Tech and commercial competence in capital equipment environments, especially packaging, processing, or automation solutions.
- Comfortable working within a matrixed, multinational organization (ACMA + Coesia Americas).
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
