Sales Manager, AI & Data Cloud

About the Role
As our Founding Data Cloud & Rippling Solutions Sales Manager, you will lead and develop a team of SMB Account Executives for a fast-paced, high-growth company. Your leadership will have a direct impact on the growth of the Data Cloud sales team, the training and development of your team, and you’ll be an integral part of Rippling’s growth. This position reports to our Senior Director of IT Sales.
Responsibilities
- Manage, coach and scale a team of Account Executives
- Absorb your team throughout their strategic sales cycles by deeply understanding customers needs and mapping them to the value of Rippling Data Cloud & Rippling Solutions
- Maintain sales performance: activity, pipelines, monthly forecasts, and closed-deals to ensure quota attainment
- Regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity
- Lead team to achieve and exceed monthly targets
- Participate in hiring and interviewing process, as well as training and ramp-up of new team members
Requirements
- An experienced sales manager with 3-5 years manager experience in tech sales
- A top performer with a consistent track record of exceeding targets as an individual contributor
- Ability to collaborate extensively with Solutions Engineers (SEs), Professional Services, or Forward Deployed Engineers to bridge the gap between "vision" and "execution"
- Able to accurately forecast team performance
- Motivated with a desire to learn and have a strong work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Qualifications
- Experience in managing and scaling sales teams
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to motivate and develop a team
- Experience with data cloud solutions and/or enterprise software

Pay
The pay range for this role is: 260,000 - 270,000 USD per year (US)
Schedule
This role will receive a competitive On-Target Earnings (base salary + sales commission) + benefits + equity. The On-Target Earnings* US-based employees will be 50/50 commission split for base/variable pay for the range listed above.
