About the role

Meet and greet guests as they arrive for scheduled sales presentations or stop by the sales gallery for general information. Ensure that all guests are comfortable and offer refreshments as they wait. Assign guests to the proper Sales Executive and track and update reports regarding line rotation. Award premiums (gifts) to guests upon completion of sales presentations and track premium delivery in the computer system. Maintain neat, clean, and stocked common areas in the gallery. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and update data regarding sales presentations, site packages, and self-generated leads into the computer software system.
  • Research, compile, retain, and communicate pertinent sales information/history to Sales Executives and/or Managers on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Review details and scheduling of sales presentations or preview packages for guests without scheduled presentations.
  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
  • Create, log, and expedite premiums (gifts) for site marketing programs.
  • Follow company policy and procedure for working with children (e.g., use of waiver forms).
  • Observe activity in the child-care facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedures in emergencies.
  • Identify situations where children cannot safely participate in an activity and inform a supervisor/manager.
  • Assist injured children until emergency medical services arrive.
  • Promote the rules and regulations of the child-care facility for the safety and welfare of children.
  • Complete any certifications/training required by law.
  • Clean and maintain child-care equipment and supplies.
  • Address guests' service needs professionally, positively, and timely.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
  • Anticipate guests' service needs, ask questions to understand their needs, and act on guest preferences.
  • Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests.
  • Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting, using the guest's name when possible.
  • Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, entertainment, restaurants, special events).
  • Set up, replenish, and break down hospitality items throughout the sales gallery.
  • Ensure the kitchen preparation room and all common areas are neat and in order.
  • Oversee and ensure the safety of children accompanying sales presentation guests in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing Management and Associates to ensure efficient tour wave flow throughout the day.
  • Communicate tour wave availability to all marketing department associates.
  • Update the tour manifest throughout the day.
  • Complete all Daily Checklists and report them to management at the end of the shift.
  • Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
  • Answer telephones using proper etiquette (e.g., within 3 rings, with a smile, using the caller's name).
  • Document the distribution of premiums (gifts) in computer software systems.
  • Distribute gifts to guests upon completion of sales presentations.
  • Maintain, update, and balance premium gifting banks regularly.
  • Maintain and update the Preferred Merchant List.
  • Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
  • Handle sensitive issues with employees and/or guests tactfully and confidentially.
  • Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
  • Follow company and department policies and procedures.
  • Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
  • Attend meetings as required by supervisors.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Six months of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

Skills

  • Use computer systems and software packages to input, access, modify, store, or output information.
  • Enter and retrieve data from computer systems using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball.
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.

Pay

$20.05/hour

Schedule

Full-time, must be open to work on weekends. Start time: 8:00 AM; end time varies between 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM.
