The Sales Executive position in our Third Party Partnerships (TPP) division is ideal for those who thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and are eager to learn and adapt alongside technology.
About the Role
The Sales Executive in the TPP division is responsible for selling Cvent's Event Cloud technology and partnership program offerings to third-party planner/agency partners. This role requires a strong focus on new account development, solution-selling, and meeting revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Cvent's products and services to new corporate accounts
- Develop and call on new prospects to meet and exceed revenue expectations
- Create individual plans of action to penetrate targeted Key Accounts
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities via pipeline reports
- Manage personal revenue pipeline to maximize new business opportunities
- Work with Account Management and Client Services to ensure customer satisfaction
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers to generate new business
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials or related experience
- Prior revenue generating sales experience, software sales highly desired
- Excel at developing relationships over the phone
- Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
- Must be comfortable speaking in front of large audiences
- Must be proficient in general office software applications and sales automation tools like Salesforce.com and WebEx
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
